CHRONICLES #16

ESA x Maus

Inspired by an unforgettable moment in space, an exclusive streetwear collection has been created in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and our long-standing partner, WDR.

Since 1971, the Maus has been explaining the world to us. But in 2014, it went a step further: together with a team of ESA astronauts, it set off to explore space.

As part of the "Blue Dot" mission, the Maus traveled alongside astronaut Alexander Gerst to explore the International Space Station (ISS) – an unforgettable moment. Why the Maus had to be on board of all things, Alexander Gerst simply sums it up:

"The Maus is always there because she's as curious as I am."

This curiosity directly connects the Maus with ESA. The organization is Europe's gateway to space. Its goal is to actively advance European space travel and ensure that research in space sustainably enriches the lives of people in Europe and around the world. Exactly this desire to explore the unknown connects the educational mission of the Maus with the work of ESA.

This gave us the idea to bring the two partners together on exclusive products. The limited edition is characterized by space travel aesthetics – the combination of typical astronaut badges, the iconic ESA branding, and the Maus in a spacesuit make for unique pieces.

With this collaboration, we want to support ESA's mission and merge the cult status of the Maus with the fascination of science.

A tribute to the urge to never stop discovering.

Never stop exploring!
